Missions
Our church remains committed to Missions, and is active within the Merrimack Valley.  Throughout the years, the church has been recognized by people in the greater Lowell area for its outstanding mission support. 

We support the mission efforts of:
  • Catie's Closet
  • 1269
  • Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary
  • House of Hope
  • Lowell Wish
  • Retired Ministers and Missionaries 
Some of our ongoing mission projects include: 
  • Support for our troops abroad
  • Tewksbury food pantry contributions
  • Meals for local homeless families
  • Clothing and food drives 
  • Support and supplies for our veterans 

Tewksbury Food Pantry: The Mission Committee is involved in an on-going project with the Tewksbury Food Pantry, which gives out bags of food to over 160 families and is always in need. We have a basket at the front of the sanctuary with a sign for the "Food Pantry." To donate canned goods, staple items, or paper products, simply place them in the basket. When we have filled the basket, the contents will be given to the Tewksbury Food Pantry for distribution to needy families. We will continue this project for as long as you continue to donate. Any help you can give is appreciated.

For donations, please make checks payable to: "First Baptist Church Tewksbury" with the memo line indicating the destination of your gift. Place in the Sunday offering plate or give to our Financial Secretary. If mailing to the church, please note on the envelope "Attn. Financial Secretary".
