Mission Offering so successful. The last tally was $452.00. |
 | Love Gift Offering and Special Coffee
Hour on November 13th
was enjoyed by all. The total for mission was $280. We will be doing this
again in February. |
 | Quilts for hurricane victims have
been sent. The Mason family has expressed their gratitude for the assistance
they have received while they have been among us. Haven’t we enjoyed having
them here!! |
 | The American Baptist Women’s
Ministries group has sent their White Cross Christmas quota to Homeland
Missions, and the rest of what was on their list is being collected, along
with all of the extra things. Thanks to the women for their outstanding
generosity and warm response. |
Our church has consistently been one of
the top rated mission-giving churches of our denomination, American Baptist
Churches, USA. We seek to maintain that
mission emphasis in local, national, and international mission out-reach.
Some of our
ongoing mission projects include:
 |
Lap robes for
Tewksbury State Hospital residents
|
 |
Christmas gifts
for local needy families
|
 |
Meals for local
homeless families housed in hotels
|
 |
Clothing and food
drives
|
The First Baptist Church of Tewksbury is
an active member of the American Baptist Churches, USA and is active in the state and
association organizations of our denomination.
For several years we have taken an offering for our
seminarian fund, initiated to support one of our own members in seminary. If you would like to
contribute to this mission fund, please notify pastor Carole Boutwell.
