The members and friends at the First Baptist Church of Tewksbury extend a warm and friendly welcome to you. If you are seeking one, we hope that you will find here the beginnings of a church home. If you are visiting, may this community of faith be one that you call home for your stay. Our services are each Sunday and begin at 10:30am. During the school year Sunday School starts at 9:30am. The First Baptist Church of Tewksbury has a rich history that began back in 1842 with the formation of our church in the center of town. A building was eventually erected here in North Tewksbury in 1843 and has been enlarged several times since, including the addition of an educational building. Although of Baptist affiliation and practice, our people come from many diverse backgrounds and all share a faith in Jesus Christ and His way.
