Like most Baptist churches, the First Baptist Church of Tewksbury is self-governing, all decisions are made by the voting membership as a whole. Various boards that help us define and carry out our ministries are Missions and Out-reach, Christian Education, Deacons, Trustees, and Pastoral Relations.
As a Baptist church, we subscribe to no one particular creed, but recognize
the individual's responsibility to God for guidance in daily faith and practice. We
endeavor to be in prayer for each other and to support the work of Christ through active
participation in the life of the church.
